Trainee GPs can be hit and miss when it comes to gendering patients correctly in notes. By their own admission, there is only one GP who knows how to handle gender care and who apologised for the misgendering by a trainee GP and said they would raise it with the trainee during their weekly meeting.
All of the nurses have been friendly and efficient when doing blood tests and Testosterone blocker injections.
Receptionists are friendly but don't know anything about gender admin tasks like changing names and gender markers. I had to ask the GP to handle it internally.
The GP was happy to continue prescribing HRT on the recommendation of CHX GIC and has raised my E dosage on request. They also increased the amount of patches in my prescription to provide resiliency against the Estradot shortage.
Clinic pharmacy has trouble acquiring HRT patches. I was recommended by the GP to acquire them at the other village pharmacy.
