Originally prescribed testosterone under GenderGP (2022). Was dropped by GenderGP for unknown reasons, but the NHS has continued to prescribe it for me as a bridging prescription, as well as monitoring blood tests for several years. Gender marker letter also had fee (2022).

They will do shared care with a GIC or private provider (NHS consultant) but refuse to prescribe and do bloods once I have been discharged back to the care of the GP when I have been on stable HRT for years. They say they don’t have the skill!!!! They say it’s practice policy.

I can't comment on the GP with regards to HRT because I haven't yet started, but rather overall, I have not run into any issues when accessing other care. My GP was quick to forward my GIC referral with no extra prompting from me needed. My name and NHS gender marker were updated after my first appointment when I went in for a referral, and I have had no cases of misgendering or deadnaming from any staff in the clinic.
